FAQS

Who do I call if we have a pest-related emergency?

We respond to pest emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  For pest emergencies, you may call our toll free number at 1.888.556.7888 for an immediate response.  Most calls are serviced within 4 hours.

What is a pest-related emergency?

There are a number of situations that can constitute a pest emergency.  Some reasons  include suspicion of bed bug activity, snakes, bats indoors, or other wildlife concerns.  The pest need not be harmful to qualify as an emergency.  For instance, bed bugs are not a health concern however due to their high rate of transference and mobile nature, it is imperative that they are treated as soon as possible.

How much does an estimate cost?

We don’t believe in charging people unnecessarily, and will therefore come to your location at no charge and provide you with a comprehensive estimate.  We will provide you with a detailed proposal that will provide both education on your pest issues but also how we propose to address them.

How do I schedule our initial service?

We have assigned each of our technicians a regional service area.  Once you have elected to begin services, you are assigned to a technician.  That technician is to call you within 24-48 hours after receiving notification that you have been added to their list.  At that time you can coordinate with that Pest Management Professional the most convenient times for you.  If you do not receive a phone call within this timeframe, please call our office at 717.667.7178 or email admin@AAAEnviroPestControl.com.

Will my technician come on the same day every month?

This is largely dependent on your schedule as well as the technician’s route.  At the end of each service visit, you will be presented with a ‘Service Ticket’.  On this ticket there is an area for you and the technician to write the next scheduled visit date.  Once our office receives this ticket on the following day, our administrative staff will add this to the technician’s calendar.

What if I need to change my scheduled visit?

No problem.  Either call our office at 717.667.7178 or email at admin@AAAEnviroPestControl.com.  We will then have your technician call you to reschedule.

I have a question about my invoice.  Who do I call?

You may reach our administration department at 717.667.7178, or you may email us at admin@AAAEnviroPestControl.com and we will be sure to assist you.

What are your office hours?

Typically, the office staff is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.  The office is closed on weekends.  Our 24 hour number is 1.888.556.7888.

Who can I speak with regarding a complaint?

Any concerns can be addressed to our quality control leader at 814.574.3336 or Sales@AAAEnviroPestControl.com.

Do you have set times for service?

We will find a time that is mutually convenient to get your home or facility serviced properly.  We offer both day and night service times, and can definitely make sure your facility is serviced at the time that bests fits your needs.

What if I still see bugs after you spray?

It is normal to see bug activity right after spraying because the products used on your property are designed to target not only the surface bugs, but the colonies that have potentially been building up.  If, after ten days of your regular service you still see groups of bugs or ant trails, give us a call and we will come back and retreat problem areas.

Do you offer GREEN products to service us with?

Yes, we have a full line of Green products that we can use to service your facility.  Please communicate your desire for these products to sales@AAAEnviroPestControl.com or 814.574.3336 so that we can make sure your location is treated accordingly.

How quickly will I see results?

Results will vary depending upon the type and quantity of pests treated.  After the initial service you should see a substantial decrease in pest activity, but complete control can take a few more service applications.

Are the products you use safe?

All of the products we use are toxic to insects but not to humans.  We do, however, realize that people don’t like to be exposed to treatments.  This is why we base our applications to your site on results from thorough inspections of treatment areas.  Inspecting and treating where the pests are likely to be and not just treating areas just to treat.  Many of the chemicals we use are safe enough to be sprayed inside of vending machines or pet carriers.

I just had my outdoor service done and it rained the next day.  Do I need to have my house treated again?

No.  As long as the treatment had an opportunity to dry for 30 minutes, it will stay adhered to the surface it was applied to.  The elements can eventually degrade a pesticide over time, however, most have a minimal residual of 90 days.

Do I need to leave when you service?

Only if you want to.  We primarily use a no or low-odor spray both in and around homes and businesses.

I saw a mouse in my garage, is my house infested?

Not necessarily.  You may just have a single mouse in the house.  The only way to really know is to have one of our pest management professionals inspect for signs of infestation or to purchase glue traps and monitor the activity yourself.

I haven’t seen any problems since you began regular service, do I really need to keep a regular program?

The reason you haven’t seen any problems is because of our regular service.  By treating your home or business on a regular basis, we maintain a barrier that keeps pests out, so you don’t see them.  If service was stopped, your pest activity would increase.

Mosquitoes are all over me and my family as soon as we go outside.  What can be done for them?

We have a new service program specifically targeted toward mosquitoes.  This treatment program uses a fine mist application of microencapsulated materials to treat all of the foliage around your home or business.  This targeted application kills mosquitoes where they rest and hide during the day. If needed and applicable, ponds at your location can also be treated.  Mosquitoes feed most actively in late August-September through October, as these peskiest of insects are storing fat for their winters sleep.

Are your technicians certified, licensed, or insured?

Yes to all of the above.  We can provide documentation to prove our technicians are certified by the Department of Agriculture, the governing body of the pest control industry.  We also conduct a criminal background check on our employees, received Department of Corrections clearances, as well as insured.

Are any products you use in treating pests available for purchase by homeowners?

Yes.  Our website has an array of products hand picked by our staff that are easy to use and safe for your pets. While some websites selling chemicals for pest control sell chemicals you are permitted to own but not legally apply, we only sell pest control products safe enough for homeowner use.
