Raccoons are highly adaptable to a variety of environments.  While they were originally native to wooded areas, some raccoons are becoming more urbanized, and with that there is a high probability for raccoon and human interaction.

 

Raccoons do not pose an imminent physical danger to humans, however, raccoons can carry rabies that would be transmitted if a human was bitten by a raccoon, though raccoons generally will not bother you if you do not bother them.  They often will feed on small farm animals such as chickens or other easy prey.  These pests can cause significant damage to your property if they take up residence in your attic or other open structure.

 

We believe that raccoons are relatively harmless and that while they may not best fit your neighborhood or business setting, they can be re-located through live trapping.
